Katherine Fuchs
 
KATHERINE FUCHS has been on staff at ANA since December 2010 and is currently serving as Program Director based in ANA's Washington, DC office. As the voice of ANA in DC, she represents ANA's membership at Department of Energy and Congressional hearings and meetings, she also coordinates ANA's annual DC Days lobbying event and manages interns in the DC office.

Katherine has over a decade of experience organizing educational and advocacy campaigns focused on nuclear, foreign policy, and human rights issues. Before coming to ANA, Katherine was the national organizer at Education for Just Peace in the Middle East and has previously worked for Peace Action at both their Wisconsin affiliate and the national office. Earning a B.A. in Political Science and International Development from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2005, Katherine is currently a Masters candidate in the Peace, Conflict, and Development Studies program at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellon, Spain. Ms. Fuchs' focus in this program is international advocacy coalitions.

In her spare time, Katherine volunteers with the Think Outside the Bomb national youth nuclear abolition network and the Grassroots Education Project in Washington, DC.
