DOE Receives Over 120,000 Comments on Complex Transformation

The Department of Energy wants to design and build a new generation of nuclear weapons in new facilities across the country. ANA is fighting DOE’s “Complex Transformation” plan and working to make sure that DOE cleans up the contamination from Cold War production of nukes.  Since the beginning of March, the DOE has held numerous hearings around the country to obtain views of citizens living near nuclear facilities. These hearings have resulted in over 120,000 comments posted to the DOE Complex Transformation website.
